My Ride: Eurocar
You can pick up your rental right from the airport, a 2 minute walk from the exit. It's $99 a week for a compact and a 45 minute drive into town. This European company is quick and reliable.
My Digs:
Puebla Bonita Resorts: Sunset Beach
This "time share" is open to the public, immaculately kept, and on a piece of land - a private, upscale community in paradise. Online rates start at $199 per night. This seems high, until you realize that they are presidential suites; two bedrooms and a living-room; sleeping up to 8 with a full kitchen and two bathrooms! All rooms are ocean view - some with private hot tubs. The resort even has it's own water supply so you can drink the water, and chomp on that Margarita ice - worry free.
My Eats:
Trailer Park
This local favorites has been known for years as the best of the best. With authentic local fare, and fair pricing - this has been the "spot" for locals and tourists alike. Trailer Park, despite it's name, is quant with a warm ambiance. The patio is lined with lanterns and tea lights - and large fans blow in the distance keeping a cool breeze through out your meal. Must haves are the locally caught lobster tail, the ginormous garlic shrimp, and the sweet baby BBQ ribs, secret's in the sauce. Warning; healthy portions, all meals come with soup and salad and they even have a menu of sauces for all your meat and seafood needs. Service is A+.
Mi Casa
This restaurant is situated just north of the Marina in town, in a mission style building decorated with vibrant murals. The entrance has toys, dolls and ceramics celebrating the dia de los muertos - giving you a interesting first impression of this palatial restaurant. 5 different rooms span through this gigantic restaurant - large outdoor areas as well as private nooks with vine canopy, all packed with guests. This place is popular. Like the outside and entrance, every inch of this place is decorated with colorful paintings, gorgeous Antigua furniture, and intricate tile work; a feast for the eyes. As if this wasn't enough, the menu is incredible. Everything from Enchiladas, to sweet brisket mole; quality of the food is off the chain - and totally hits that mexican food craving. BYOB - and the corkage is free!

Cabo is known for it's natural beauty and it's outdoor activities. You can 4-wheel in the sand dunes all day for around $100, ride horses on the white sandy beaches for $75, or take a free shuttle to Rose and either lounge on the beach under free chairs and umbrellas, or take a glass bottom boat from shore for $12 to Lover's Beach across the way. Here you get a boat tour of the famous Cabo caves and tunnels, or pay your driver $10 for snorkel gear and be dropped off at Pelican Beach for some of the best snorkeling in North America. This tiny rock island features calm water, bursting with fish and natural underwater wildlife - the colors will take your breath away. Swim as long as you like, just tell your driver when and where you want to be picked up; 4-5pm is happy hour on the main beach - make it back for the 2 for one!
