MY RIDE: Rent a car. LA is a driving city and public transportation is not great. You and your girlfriends would look hot in a convertible sports car or I would consider renting a retro mustang or thunderbird from a classic rental shop. www.exocticcarrental.com $$$ All car rental companies are available at the airports. TIP: When staying near the beach, rent bikes to get around during the day. Very bike friendly. MY DIGGS: Nearthe beach - Shutters, Malibu Beach Inn and Marriott's Le Merigot. $$$www.marriott.com, www.malibubeachinn.com www.shuttersonthebeach.com These Beach hotels are pricey and are full service but worth the money. If you want to go cheap go inland and stay at the chain hotels, Marriott Courtyards, Good Nite Inn or stay at the local Universities during the summer months when the students are off and get a special rate. Call the special programs Department. Recommendations: Pepperdine University, UCLA and ASU. Enjoy the outdoor patio and fire pits, great venue to meet and play with lots of guys. : $$ CABO CANTINA - Guaranteed fun. Great drinks and typical bar food but that's ok the vibe keeps you occupied. Everyone in there is ready to party and extremely friendly. A must go girls……. : $$

Sightseeing: I won't bore you with the typical stuff, since I lived in LA I want to give you the cool stuff to do, some of these things are what the locals do and you will see a lot of celebrity sightings as well. Malibu - Great shopping and restaurants. Cross Creek Shopping center. Can't miss it. It's in the heart of Malibu off the Pacific Coast Highway. Don't forget Cross Creek Beach right in the heart of Malibu. See some great homes and maybe a movie star…… Pepperdine University - Voted by the Princeton Review the most beautiful campus in the United States. Go and see the views from the graduate campus. Visit heroes garden a memorial built to remember a Pepperdine Alumnus who died during the 9/11 tragedy. Solstice Canyon Loop- Located in Malibu, North on Route 1. Great hiking, ocean views, 30-foot water falls and it's free to enter. Runyon Canyon Park - A bit crowded but if you want to be seen and do a little exercise this is the place to go. On Franklin & Fuller Ave. in LA BergamotStation- a tricked out train station with galleries galore, in Santa Monica on Michigan and Clover field.
